Is this platy on her way to fishy heaven?

My DD (7) has two platys, today I noticed one of them has a curved spine and looks like her tummy has gone.

I took her out and put her in aqarium salt bath for a bit and changed the water.

Can I do anything else. DD is very upset

Can you see any worms sticking out of her bottom? Any sores on her body? There are a couple of things it could be so any other info will help narrow it down.

Until it is figured out, please be very careful about putting your hands in the water- I would wear gloves and give your hands a good wash afterwards. Don't let your DD come into contact with the water. There's a chance it could be fish TB which is transferable to humans (not the same as human TB though). It is fairly rare and not always serious but I would be careful anyway.

Any chance of a photo or a video of the fish?
