They are amazing Grin

Bought 3 of these today, dd has named them Barry, Garry and Larry, they are the most interesting things to watch and havn't stopped moving around the tank, I have fallen in love with them. Is there any chance they will breed?

I've never heard them called rabbit snails before, I had to google. If you've got at least one male and female then they should breed- I bet the babies are sooo cute!

I'm by no way an expert on snails, but I do know that all snails are hermaphrodite and have both male and female sex organs, so, provided they fancy each other Grin they will breed and each partner will lay eggs.

They seem very friendly towards each other so fingers crossed for some babies, they are zooming around the tank ( well at a fast snails pace ), I think I got them for a bargain price at £1.60 each.

Not all aquatic snails are hermaphrodites. No idea about terrestrial ones. This page seems to have a lot of info.

I might have to buy a few more to give me a better chance of getting babies then. They only have one or 2 babies at a time too so I won't get over run with them.
