Got 8 Neons, all seem happy except for one. Had been swimming more vertically all day and now lying down the bottom as if he's taking his last breath. Anything I can do? So frustrating with fish when you can't hold them.

Things are getting worse. So cleaned the tank today and added the eSha 2000. When i cleaned the sponges I found the 2 missing Neons dead squashed with the sponges. Couldn't find them for days but was hoping they were hiding well. Don't know how they got in there and if that's how they died or they died before. Sad So with the eSha, it says 25 drops for 100 litres. But in the instructions it says double the dose for very ill fish, well he can't get much worse, can he? So sad!

Oh dear Sad have you started the treatment now? how are things looking so far?

If the fish were inside the filter then it might be an idea to put some mesh over the intake to stop it happening again.

I put 50mls in yesterday, when I looked this morning he was still lying at the bottom. I'm at work today til 8 so don't know how he's been today. He does try swimming to the top occasionally.

Have you tested the water again? Is it oxygenated OK?

Your tank isn't overstocked but I wouldn't be thinking of adding any more fish at the moment, not until this problem is all sorted out.
