Seems it doesn't mix with small fish 
We got some guppies for the DDs' tank the other day and they keep getting stuck behind the filter clip and I have to keep undoing it to rescue them. Why Fluval didn't just stick with the 2+ is a mystery to me, I might see if I can get a second hand one.
