bristlenosed plec eggs!

I have a breeding pair of plecs. on theor first lot of eggs he manages to loose a load and they started floating round the tank. they were a lovely burnt orange color.
I have since had 60-70 babys born in my tank! - they are obviously very in love. my female is gorgeous, lovely long floaty fins, very different!

he is now looking after some more eggs, but when I had a look they are all yellow!? do they change to orange or could these be albino ones? I have a female abino in tank also but assumed she was too young to breed.

I've never see the eggs from my breeding bristlies as the male won't let me anywhere near! He's a great dad an gets massively territorial.
Do you know what you're going to do with the fry once they're bigger? I had great success with the local Maidenhead Aquarium store, they took about 300 from me over about 12 months in return for very generous credit notes.
Your female sounds like she might be a sailfin, lucky you!

Very jealous!I have 5 bn plecs and so far havn't had any eggs. Hopefully the yellow ones are albino ( fingers crossed they are fertilised ).

no idea what to do with them yet. I have given away about 70 so far! !
His cave is an upturned plant pot, so I had a little look under!

do you know of any reason why the first lot were orange and this lot are yellow?

Apparently they can be orange or yellow, they probably come from a different female (maybe your albino).
