Where can I get a reasonably priced big fish tank?

Dd given 2 goldfish as a present. Lost interest in them almost immediately but they have thrived and have outgrown two tanks so far in the two years we have had them.

Can't afford any of the big tanks in the petshop. I would love to rehome them but dd (5) would get upset even though she doesn't pay any interest in them.

Any ideas for big cheap tank?

Local FB groups, ebay, gumtree, preloved. Loads to choose from.

You could get a pond in your garden?

I get most of my tanks from the local tip Smile but my newest tank came from gum tree and cost me £100 for full set up.

Would they survive moving to a garden pond?

Not this time of year, you'd have to wait until the spring. Are they fancy goldfish or common goldfish? Fancy ones are the fat round ones with long fins, common ones are the normal fish shape ones. Commons are fine in a pond, fancies are too delicate and shit at swimming so can't get away from predators.
