I posted a while back about a poorly platy. Said platy is still alive but rather lonely since moving to a 70l tank with a fellow platy. The shock of the move proved too much for a fellow platy who died shortly after going to the new tank.

Not only is it lonely for the fish it's also a bit daft having 70 l for one fish!

I have danios and minnows in a coldwater tank. The danios have become quite aggressive to the minnows. I am wondering whether to move them to the new tank and add four more danios (recommended grouping is six, but then that leaves the platy on its own still)

I have been hunting the local freecycle for another large tank but no joy yet. The new tank is heated to 25 degrees which I have read is OK for danios.

The water tests are fine for the new tank btw.

I am sleep deprived so sorry for being confused Grin Are you swapping the tanks over or just moving the danios and then having the minnows and platy together?

Hi, was thinking to put the danios in with the platy (25 degree tank)

They'd be OK temporarily but I wouldn't keep them at that temperature long-term.

Ok, thanks Thanks
