i am very proud to announce after killing loads of them, i have not got proper baby corys, that you can see without a mignifying glass!

I have no problem getting them to lay eggs, and i collect the eggs. but then they either dont hatch, or do hatch and then die days later. i appear to have perfected my technique and i now have very tiny, but clearly visable 2-3 week old corys! WooHoo!

congratulations! How did you manage it?

I love corydoras. Yes how did you do it?

I put a fair bit of really cold water in, over a period of a few hours. a few inches of COLD water. then in the next few hours/days they start laying eggs. I collect all the eggs and put them in a jam jar and float that in the tank. I put in a couple of drops of anti fungus solution and a air pump. they then hatch a few days/week later. I give them hatchling food. I do tiny water changes using water from tank all while they are floating in jar.

and now I have just put them in a fry net- bought from pets at home because all of mine have too big a holes in and the p@h net is very very fine.

AND I have just found orange eggs in tank, which I think are bristle nose plec eggs!!! - not sure why the male was not loooking after them tho!Confused Confused
