Fish Tank cleaning service?

Is there such a thing for domestic tanks? We have had a tank for a couple of months now and I just don't have time to do all the water changes and cleaning etc. The kids are too young/ not interested to do it themselves. Help! Was wondering if anyone had accessed anything like this where someone would come in once a week and do it for me?

It's my long-term plan to start up a business doing exactly that. You don't live in Cambridgeshire do you?

Seriously though, you should be able to find someone to help you out pretty easily. Some fish shops offer this kind of service, there are companies that specialise (although they normally do larger tanks in commercial places) or you can probably just find a local geek that'll do it for a fiver/tenner depending on what sort of tank you have and how big it is.

Forgot to say, do be wary who you get though. I've seen some all-emcompassing 'pet services' but fish are very specialist so make sure the person knows what they are doing. Ask them to explain the nitrogen cycle and describe how they would clean the filter. If they don't know what the nitrogen cycle is or say that they would wash the filter under the tap, don't hire them!

Eau - I'm near Cambridge (2 miles south) any recommendations locally? The past few months I'm finding myself cleaning the tank at 11.30 at night.

I need to move closer to Cambridge to set up my own business, so it seems . I don't know anyone personally. I know there's a guy in Ely that does it, I forget his name (something Eastern European...). He's on Facebook, I'll see if I can find him.
