Molly given birth to dead fry :(

Bought the molly yesterday, she was obviously pregnant, 9pm tonight and she had been swimming up and down in the corner, 9.30 i put her in the breading net, 10pm she starts giving birth to dead fry .

So did i stress her out too much puting her in the breeding net (its quite a big net, not like the tiny breading boxes) i put her in carefuly ,she showed no signs of being stressed (was probably pleased to get away from the other fish that were chasing her).

So sad that the first birth i got too see and they are dead .

Sorry to read about your fish, really don't feel bad, they can easily have problems nothing to do with what anyone did or didn't do.

Thank you for posting, she's fine this morning so i dont think it was stress that caused it.

Just sad that my first fishy birth that i have seen ended like this .

She's probably already pregnant again so hopfully next time will end better.

Today another Molly gave birth when i was out but we have saved 3 babbies , so pleased as i didn't even know she was due to have fry.
