corydoras question

i have 1 albino cory, 2 peppered cory, 1 large albino cory with light orange fins at the front and 2 white corys with black spots running all over its body and with orange fins at the front also. ( sorry about my rather rubbish description of them! i can not remember what they were called!)

I know corys like to live in a group, but mine don't seem to 'hang out' together iyswim. they all bugger off and do their own thing. is this because they are different types? would they be happier if I got more (I have enough room) of the same type? eg. more albino corys, more peppered corys etc?

You answered your own question. Yes, it's because they are different types. Up the numbers of 4 in each group at least if you can, but the more the better.

Not long ago I inherited 5 peppered cories and 1 lonely panda cory and it is very obvious that the peppered cories stick together and the panda is the odd one out. I will get him some friends as soon as I'm back from holiday.
