They are my fantasy fish (we all have fantasy fish, don't we?!)

I just love them - love their appearance and how big they get, and they look like they have real personalities. I don't think I'll ever have one - I doubt DH would let me have a tank that big - but I would love to know more about them to fuel my fishy jealousy

They are awesome, I would love one as well. They are bloody enormous though :( I had a pair of bolivian rams once, they had pretty big personalities for such little fish. I think a lot of cichlids are like that.

When I'm a kajillionaire I'm going to have a massive indoor tropical pond so I can rehome tankbusters sold to unsuspecting customers.

That caresheet's good - high-maintenance little buggers, aren't they? Still love them though. If I was rich I would have a huuuuge tank with a couple in. My platies will have to do for now though

They seem to be not that fussy about water params but can you imagine the water changes that'd be one day a week gone just for tank cleaning.
