The industry has all jumped on the 3D bandwagon of late, I wondered what everyone makes of it? is it the future or just an annoying fad to make extra cash?.

Personally if a film is only in 3D I avoid it, Cinema is expensive enough without having to buy 3D specs at £3 a time on top of the ticket price.

I wouldn't mind if the price of the 3D glasses was refunded if you hand them back in or you could keep them and bring them with you when you see other 3D films but they make you buy a par every time on top of the £7 ticket price, if a film is 3D only I'll wait for it to be released on DVD it's cheaper.

You're being robbed....

I always choose the 3D option never had to pay extra, just get given the glasses and then dump them in the box on the way out.

3D is here to stay, although I'm confused about the 3D TV options, gonna be weird having to sit in your front room with them on.

Cineworld was £20 for two people for a 3d film and then another 90p each for glasses which you get to keep.
