This is the most powerful. I think of it every time I hear the music.

I love the

'I carried a Watermelon' from Dirty Dancing, it makes me laugh every time.
It's just the sort of rubbish you would really say when you first meet someone and are trying to think of something witty.

not really a scene though and not as classy as your two examples!

I love - Goose, ya big stud, take me to bed or lose me forever! Show me the way home honey!! Total blast from my youth that!

And also love the scene in bridges of madison county where she is in the car and nearly opens the door - even now I don't know if I wanted her to stay or go - so a really powerful scene as I truely felt the indecision.

requiem for a dream... grim grim grim... was very shaken after watching that.

have you seen ivan's xtc? it has a very powerful ending too, but has been kind of oddly spliced in this clip so you don't get the proper build up.

all time favourite scene though is in harold and maude when they are watching the sun set and the song "if you want to sing out" fades out to

[seagulls fly across the sky]
Maude: Dreyfus once wrote from Devil's Island that he would see the most glorious birds. Many years later in Brittany he realized they had only been seagulls... For me they will always be - glorious birds.

and the song fades back in. it's such a perfect moment.
