Has anyone seen the new film Nativity with the fella from the Office? Is it suitable for a 4-year old? A 4-year old with slightly uptight parents?
My SIL has booked a whole cinema for nieces b'day and invited our LO - it would be her first time at the cinema!
Thanks for any help!

I have seen it with Ds who is 8. The first half is a bit slow but the last half is just lovely if you like cute kids, singing and dancing and a happy endng. There are no scaries or inappropriateness and it is a U so you should be fine! Enjoy!

It's very funny. I took the dc (4&7) with some freinds last weekend, and they managed to talk dh into taking them again today whilst I was at work!

Really funny. You will laugh at Mr Poppy. Alot.

I saw this today (sans enfants ) - it was lovely, really enjoyed it.

We saw it yesterday. My DD is 6 and she thought it was fab. I agree that Mr Poppy is hilarious and Martin Freeman is great too. My main reason for going however is that I have a huge lady-crush on Jason Watkins (who also plays the vamp Herrick in Being Human) and he was just wonderful in it too - check out the scene where his schoolkids perfom their nativity, complete with bloodied baby dolls and wailing children. Sublime!

Great support from Alan Carr, Ricky Tomlinson and the wonderfully funny Pam Ferris.

I thought it was very good!

But don't foegts to do and weeeee and a poo before you go.

just bumping this for anyone who wants to take their dcs and sit in a nice warm cinema for a couple of hours.

Me, bf, ds (12) and ds (6) saw it at the weekend and it was laaaaarvely

(have to add that we are a nasty cynical bunch and it wasn't too icky for us)
