AIBU to have nearly cried at UP?

Was I just tired or is the film a bit sad?

I don't think the kids picked up on it being sad at all, but I was a bit wobbly lipped and had to give myself a talking to.

Yes, YABU. Most adults actually cried so you are actually a stony-hearted old miseryguts.

I know that DS picked up on its being sad, because he announced very loudly to the entire cinema that "It was sad that she dies, wasn't it, Daddy?" .

I did the loud sniffing and subtle tissue wiping thing that I always do with sentimental stuff. I couldn't help myself. Always feel like a right old wuss. It's getting worse with age.

I cried too.

I cried 3 times and was pronounced a "sissy" by my friend.

Me and DP cried at Up.

DS was looking at us like we were mental.

I cried all the way through! So did DH!

I cried as well at the beginning and at the end.

DH also cried like a baby. Children seem quite unmoved by it though.

I am pregnant though. DH laughed at me. He's well hard, that man.

My DD and nephew came out looking aghast, and slightly accusingly at me (coz it was my fault natch) saying it was TOO SAD and had faces like this >

Oh, and of course I cried. It's up there with Bambi imo.
