I watched 'Amelie' last night. That film is so perfect...

She is just beautiful, I love her hair and her Doc Martins and black ankle socks (I used to dress like that in my youth)

And I love its quirkiness.

Anyone else?

Ah, I adore Amelie. Now that's how you wear a fringe, hoochie. I am having woeful regrets about mine. I have been left looking like an 80s rock god. I need to reinvest in some GHDs I think, my 20 quid rip offs are just not up to the mammoth task

Hoochie - Hors de Prix was good. Makes me chuckle everytime I think of it though. I dragged DH to the cinema to watch it. There were a couple of chavs girls who were messing about from the minute they sat down. As the adverts finished and the certificate (you know, 'so and so certifies that Hors de Prix is suitable for audiences....') came up. Well the title was in French (strange that!) and when they saw what the film was called they said loudly, 'Oh shit, we're in the wrong film, we're meant to be watching Priceless'. Cue laughter from the rest of the people there. They realised very quickly their mistake and were silent for the rest of the film, bar the odd muttering about how embarrassed they were.

Awww Amelie is wonderful. I always cry at the same point every time I watch it. Its the bit near the end where she is dreaming about Nino, and he is going to the grocers and telling everyone she is making her famous plum pudding. Then she imagines him walking up and caressing her, and then the string curtain moves behind her. Her face crumbles as she realises its just the cat. She looks so heartbroken that I always tear up! Every time!!
