favourite movie bad guys?

having just finished re-watching trainspotting, i realised how much i love begby as a bad guy.
got me thinking who are the best movie baddies?
my votes are going to
begbie (robert carlisle) for just being a brilliantly violent sociopath
alan rickman in die hard for the terrible accent
and maybe heath ledger for batman

Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List, Harry Potter and Red Dragon comes to mind. He's vile and nasty in all three.

And any villain played by Ralph Fiennes.

He always adds a little humanity to his villains which I love.

Heath Ledger as the Joker. I just love him. Also Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs. He is quite terrifying.

He's not a bad guy in the end of course but in the films so far he appears to be: Alan Rickman as Snape.

Oh yes anyone played by Christopher Walken, he's an incredible actor. Too many to name, though I have a particular fondness for his Gabriel in The Prophecy.

the captain in pan's labyrinth was horrid.
