Tom Cruise in Valkyrie - How bobbins does this film look to you?

I'm sorry but that silly little man just looks ridiculous in the trailers for this gottaberubbish film. Honestly the hubris of this weirdo wantting to play a part he is SO unsuited to.

It's surely going to flop isn't it?

It was funny on telly this morning where he was saying he's always dremed of killing Hitler...

Although I know someone who's seen it and says it is dead good!

He just looks like ickle wickle TommymadCruise in a Nazi outfit thinking he's magnificent, heroic, noble etc.

Where TC was magnificent was in Magnolia absolutely utterly perfect casting and great 'acting', if you call acting playing yourself! Well, imo anyway!!

Trailers look totally crapola to me. I certainly won't be going to see it.

Yeah the trailer does look bad I agree. Although generally I like Bryan Singer's films so will give him the benefit of the doubt.

It isn't that good, I went to see it last night. the problem is that the story is OK and they try to make it more Mission Impossible stylee with the music.

Truth is its a bunch of actors using their normal voices (Bill Nighy sounds exactly like he does in Love Actually) walking around in Nazi uniforms. Oh yes, and some of them have the cunning disguise of wearing glasses too.

I have just come back from seeing it and loved it. Sad sad story but still brilliant!

I agree with oneliein that the voice thing was odd, but wouldnt reach wider auidances (sp red wine!!) if subtitled?

I really liked it made me cry lots and lots but did make me think.

Anyway go see it!!
