I just don't want to spend 3 hours watching something that I think is just alright.
I watched Brideshead revisited yesterday with mam at the senior screen and my bum was numb after 2 hours of that. I did like it though but a lot of the ladies didn't, they were moaning it was slow and too long. They only pay 2.80 though and get a free cuppa and biscuit thrown in!

So Australia, yay or nay?

I enjoyed it, but was not brimming over with joy or anything. So long as you go knowing that it is extremely corney, cliched, unrealistic and a bit soppey then you can enjoy it for what it is. If you go expecting an epic drama you will be dissapointed.
Hugh Jackman is absolutely divine! Even Nicole Kidman thinks her performance sucked, but the little boy is scrumptious.

Ok think I may give it a miss then. It'll be on senior screen soon enough so mam can go then with her friends It was her who was really keen to go to be honest.

I just heard from my Mum (expat livin gin Aus) and she absolutely loooved it. But she has a very high cheese threshold.

thanks to your mum for the vote I do like Hugh Jackman but hate bad acting so if Nicole's is bad it'll really irritate me.
