Anyone see Australia yet? More importantly did you spot Hugh Jackman's bulgy vein? I came over all weak......

Not usually one for open mouth leering at the cinema screen but Mr Jackman with his top off took my breath away. I just wanted to reach out and touch......

Anyway, I didn't fancy the film from the trailer but yes..............I am plotting a trip now I know Huge Jackman bulges and throbs in places akin to heaven in a basket. Thank you Jeepers for oiling the wheel for us

I cannot believe Baz Luhrmann made such a pile of poo after such a strong showing in his previous films.

It's quite a feat to make a 3hr film with NO moments of dramatic tension at all.

It's quite clearly divided into thirds. End of each third you think, 'Well, that was shit but the rest must be better.' It doesn't get any better.

Acting fine (irritating but ...)
Cinematography fine.
Script dreadful.
Direction awful.

I don't actually know what happened at all in the film except that Hugh Jackman (from now on known as Mr Bibi) was looking stomach-flippingly gorgeous!

I thought it was brilliant (and I hated Moulin Rouge so had my reservations...)

Obviously spending the best part of 3 hours ogling Hugh Jackman had nothing to do with my enthusiasm whatsoever ....
