whats that film called ?????

can somebody tell me what the film is called about 20 years ago i think ..plane crash in desert ..with soldiers on they all dead but they are ghosts,,and dont know they are dead ,,cant leave the area till their bodys are found,,
also film with christopher reeve...time traveler

I haven't found it on IMDB yet! DH guessed Flight of the Phoenix but its definitely not that.

Hate to say it - but after extensive (yeah, right, about 10 minutes) research - I think Sole Survivor might be the answer.

I don't remember any survivors but have found a fantastic write up about the film and it does sound like the right one.

It has to be Sole Survivor then. Certainly matches me remembering that one got left behind.

I don't remember the general either - but as he really came into the film when the investigators arrive at the crash site, that sort of makes sense. Probably just didn't pick up on the fact that he was part of the original crew and bailed out before the crash.

Don't remember WilliamICantActShatner in it either - but think I have managed to convince myself it is the right film

Yep that looks like the one - but I wouldn't buy it even if I used Paypal. He has basically re-edited recordings from the TV and then wacked a hefty price on it. I really want to see the film again - but not enough to pay for a rip-off!

I remember that film, and loved it too

I remember it being on Sunday matinee back when there were only 4 channels

weirdly I remember it as being in black and white, but it couldn't have been, and I still remember feeling shocked when the ending was revealed

it wasn't released on video, its a 'made for TV' movie .. I tracked down a pirate copy though .. they wand $40 for it
