I quite like Tom Hanks Wintera.

I would never watch something with the irritating over-rated Steven Tomkinson in it.

wintera · 29/11/2008 19:47

Well I like Tom Hanks too Spidermama, thats why I was confused! Had no idea he was so disliked at all!

LoolaBoys · 29/11/2008 19:49

Tom Cruise

Adam Sandler

Arnold Schwarzenneger

Spidermama · 29/11/2008 19:49

Nor me. I think he's very likeable.

slayerette · 29/11/2008 19:51

Jennifer Lopez but I don't know why. Apart from the fact that she can't act, of course. And I'm not a huge fan of Angelina Jolie - did you ever see a woman take herself so seriously???

walkthedinosaur · 29/11/2008 19:54

Can't watch a film with Angelina Jolie in, I can't abide her, plus you can always see the strings when she's acting.

Ikea Knightley.

Ricky Gervais, smug little git.

ShyBaby · 29/11/2008 19:58

Michael Cain. He sets my teeth on edge.

WhileShosheWatchedHerFlocks · 29/11/2008 20:13

Quentin Tarantino either as a actor or a director, gives me the creeps.

Bruce Willis hav'nt been able to stand him since moonlighting.

wintera · 29/11/2008 20:15

Oh I thought of an actor I can't watch . . Sean Connery! Yes, you heard me right, Sean Connery. No idea why he is so well respected and admired. Don't like him personally, don't like his films.

I would never ever watch any recent Eddie Murphy films either. Seeing the trailers is bad enough! And he started out so well didn't he? Trading places was fab but it went downhill a long time ago. And I think Ashton Kutcher couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.

Would rather have my arse rubbed with a brick than watch any of their films!

Cies · 29/11/2008 20:19

Another vote here for Jim Carrey. He really gets on my nerves.

Also, I would never voluntarily go to see a film with Ben Stiller in. His form of comedy sets my teeth on edge, but DH loves him, so sometimes needs must.

captainmummy · 29/11/2008 20:27

Nick 'chinless' Cage.

Tom 'gormless' Hanks.

Tom 'talentless' Cruise.

Steven 'flatface' Tomkinson

Seen Been. (can't think of a nickname but with a name like that he doesn't need one)

georgimama · 29/11/2008 20:35

Keira Knightly. I have been informed by persons whose taste and judgment I would usually trust that her "Pride and Prejudice" was very good, ditto Atonement. Don't care. Not watching them with her in them.

Angelina Jolie - she can't act. She just can't.

Haven't seen a Tom Cruise film since Jerry Maguire (which I did like) and won't do either. The man is a freak.

HarleyQuinn · 05/12/2008 11:38

Sean Connery - I swear he never changes his sodding accent!

Ricky Gervais - one word, Git.

Tom Cruise - strange, strange little man.

Angelina Jolie - Never understood, why she seems to be so great personally.

Keanu Reeves - A plank of wood could out act that man.

stitch · 09/12/2008 19:05

anything with angelina jolie

ForeverOptimistic · 09/12/2008 19:06

Hugh Grant - He is pointless.

McDreamy · 09/12/2008 19:07

Catherine Zeta Jones

harpomarx · 09/12/2008 19:10

Steven Seagal

Oh, sorry, you said actor...

mayorquimby · 10/12/2008 11:28

am i the only one who can pretty much think of at least one movie i love that features every actor mentioned here so far?

therefore i can't honestly say any actor in particular would put me off a movie.

although i can't think of one good thing Sarah Jessica Parker has ever done, but maybe i just can't remember any of here pre-SATC work.so it could well be here.

lucasnorth · 15/12/2008 22:45

Nicholas Cage - just squirmingly awful. DH doesn't mind him so I have been forced to sit through several of his films all of which have made me wonder WHO thought it was a good idea to pay this man to do this? (Rant over )

Jack Nicholson in the last 10-15 years. So smug it's distracting. A caricature of his earlier self.

Andie McDowell for being an automaton. And Keira Knightley for the same reason.

Loved Jennifer Lopez in Out of Sight, though agree with those who didn't like her later stuff...
Likewise loved Angelina Jolie in Wanted, though haven't liked anything else she's done...
So maybe I've just not seen the right film for my three objects of derision?!

lucasnorth · 15/12/2008 22:46

Oh sorry, there were four. I'd better go to bed then...

UnquietDad · 15/12/2008 22:53

I would have said Jim Carrey until The Truman Show.

Any of that new, irritating bunch, really - those two who were in Starsky and Hutch and the Wedding Crashers and that Ashton whatsisface and that Lindsey bird, and so on. The list is... well, not endless, but pretty long.

Linnet · 15/12/2008 22:54

Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt
Juliet Lewis
Gwyneth Paltrow
