too much choice! - have to pick seven dvds to rent - help please

My dh and I haven't been to the cinema for about 2 years, apart from last week to see Quantum of Solace. We have an offer from Blockbuster to rent 7 dvds in the next month (no idea how we'll find time to watch them but never mind!) but we've no idea what's been out that's been any good.

Any suggestions? Nothing too girly as my dh has to sit through them too.

What sort of film do you normally enjoy ? Comedy ? Romance ? Thriller ? Horror ?

Yes, have seen Casino Royale - think that was the last one we saw before I got pg and didn't feel well enough to sit still through a whole film. We usually get action movies or comedies (but not romantic comedies).

What Happened in Vagas is great (Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kurtser (!)) but there are elements of romance - sorry !!

Death sentance with Kevin Bacon is really good no at all what you would expect.

Cloverfield is good too.

The Bank Job, Female Agents, Black Book - to name the three films my DH has stayed awake for this year but I've also enjoyed!
