I recorded this recently from Sky modern Greats and finished watching it last night
My goodness, I love this film, makes me feel 8 all over again.
Love the music, love the singing, love the dreadful clothes and the cheese.
Anyother fans, or nominations?

Gigi! Reminds me of when I was little and my sisters and I used to watch it over and over and over again. So lovely!

Oh and also My Fair Lady. Don't make em like they used to ...

I think the delight of them to me, is that it reminds me of an innocent carefree time in my life

Grease. I also really enjoyed the remake of Hairspray, I though John Travolta was fab.

West Side Story - love the song 'Tonight'.

Love Grease, and Singin in the rain.

Joseph - ever since I saw it when I was about 4 or 5. I used to 'make' my parents take me every time it toured.

Joseph and Grease seem to be default settings when it comes to school plays ....

Am watching Sound of Music with dd as we speak. dd is obsessed. It is splendid, and Julie Andrews' singing is quite wondrous.

Think the Jungle Book is my favourite though. Or the Music Man.

Fiddler on the Roof - the last song, Anatevka, always makes me cry.

Sound of Music, and West Side Story run it a close second, with My Fair Lady in third.
