At 5.30PM on Radio 4 today apparently a mother and an 'expert' are going to argue that ALL cinema is harmful to children - ?!

I think that was the gist anyway. I probably won't get the chance to listen - if you do, will you tell me what they say? As a theatre and cinema addict who has already infected her DDs with the bug, I am genuinely intrigued.

This sounds like b**cks to me. I haven't heard the radio prog, but I don't think babies can relate to what they're seeing/hearing. I've been to a few screenings with my lil daughter, up to about 4 months. She couldn't really see the screen over the seat in front of her and was more concerned with feeding and snoozing through them. If the imagery got a bit strobey and flashy I'd just shield her eyes. Don't even know if that was necessary. I've done so much to try and do the right thing for my lo, and now it seems I have f**d her up already anyway! Ah well.
