After the Wedding on BBC 4 last night

Have been meaning to catch Susanne Bier's film for ages and finally saw it on TV yesterday evening.
Did anyone else see it? What did you think?
I was utterly gripped by the characters of Helene and Anna, less so by Jorgen and Jacob. Not a 100% successful film I think but I won't ever forget watching it

An astonishing film!
Totally gripping, real, moving, haunting.
And I agree - unforgettable.

I loved how anti-Hollywood it was and just kept saying 'can you imagine how Hollywood would have handled that scene'.

I put note up to remind myself to always watch Danish movies.
