"They told me [X] was the handsome one" - what film is this scene from?

Two male characters - close friends/colleagues. Female character has heard of them, and meets one of them for the first time. She calls him by the other man's name. When he corrects her, she says something like, "They told me [X] was the handsome one".

I was sure it's from "Gangster Number 1", but it's not!

I think it's from a British film, at least 20 years old, and set in the 60s.

Anyone remember, or did I just imagine it?

That reminds me of a scene in Love Actually.

With the 3 American girls & they say something like “oh you’ll love Sasha.. she’s the hot one”?

Yes but also the scene at the airport when Denise Richards’ character meets the black guy best friend of the guy who flew to America (sorry, I can’t remember anyone’s name!)

I've definitely never seen "Love Actually"! And it was definitely a line said by a female character...
