Has anyone seen Supergirl and what did you think of it?

Anyone been to see Supergirl yet? I went yesterday was good fun, a bit darker in tone than I was expecting.
But thinking about it she had experienced trauma.

Also the films coming soon look great. So I’m going to buy an Odeon limitless pass.

I really enjoyed it. The lead access, though I’d never seen her before, was so suited to the role. And it was kinda fun and unexpected at times. A bit dark, but I guess they had to build her accidental/unwilling hero persona

I'm going to see it tomorrow. The reviews seem to be awful but I'm not inclined to believe until I see the movie myself. Looks promising.

One thing I will say is it’s not Supergirl like the tv show or Superman. But I loved her in the end. Enjoy

Hmm, I'm a big Marvel/DC superhero fan but didn't really enjoy this one. Very little humour, especially compared to James Gunn's Superman. Soundtrack was weak and the storyline didn't grab me. For once I think the film critics are right to slate this one.

Supergirl was great but I found the child side character sooo annoying. Just didn’t think she was a strong enough actor to pull it off either. I would have quite happily watched a plot about Supergirl and her dog and it would have been far more entertaining.
