Anyone else seen this and thought the same? Was rated a U so I took my five year old today and thought it was pretty dark especially towards the end... My daughter got a bit scared at some of it and it was a little jumpy and has been talking about how scared she is since, I feel so guilty 🥺 did anyone else think so or am I just being sensitive?

Took my 4 year old and we loved it, thought it was absolutely beautiful! All kids are so different though aren’t they. Just talk her through any bits she struggled with and maybe just watch films yourself first. Don’t feel guilty though, I don’t think there was anything awful in it

We enjoyed it ! No more scary than your average Disney villain scenario.

I took my 5 year old and both of us really enjoyed it.

I was surprised it was a U rather than a PG tbh, but it really depends on the individual child.

Mind you, Watership Down was originally a U!

I took my 5yo a few weeks ago and we both enjoyed it. It can be hard to make films engaging for both kids and adults, and I thought it was pretty well done tbh. The environmentalist angle might seem adult but is actually applicable to everyone and it was done in an accessible way.
