Movie fancy dress for me and DD(11) any cool ideas for a pair of characters??

As an extra ‘theme’ we will be going to a beach for this event so something sea / beach themed?

I like Nemo and Dory but they’re a bit structural!

Alice and Queen of Hearts?
ariel and Ursula?

Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann?

Moana and Simea her little sis? Or Matangi?

SpongeBob and Patrick

Marge and Lisa Simpson?

These are all great thank you!! I’d like to avoid buying a ‘costume’ so the ones we might be able to make / adapt ourselves are best. I’ve got lots of pirate bits from a previous costume so that’s a definite possibility!

Cher and Winona from Mermaids, black wigs, learn the song and dance.

Bumping this as I really need to make a decision so I can buy things if needed but still faffing!!!! Neither DD or I know Mermaids and she doesn’t know Pirates of the Caribbean so not sure they’d work unless it’s a character she knows

My DD was a bit younger than yours at the time but I went as Wilma Flintstones and her as Pebbles.
I just had a white dress, orange wig and a chunky necklace (we made beads from salt dough) and she had a green t-shirt dress we'd drawn the triangles.
