Yikes he terrified me beyond belief and still does!

Was carried out of a cinema in1968, nothing will EVER frighten me as much as that bloody child catcher.

Still talked about and no desire to watch the film again......

I never found him scary. Too much of a caricature I think.
I didn't like the Baron though!

Mombi and the wheelers in Return to Oz immediately come to mind.

My child was frightened of The Witches.

The Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland always scared me too. Especially in movie version I watched once and can´t recall which one.

Ugh, yes! I was taken to see this as a birthday treat, so I had several friends there so couldn't even admit being terrified. I just sat there frozen staring at the edge of the carpet in the aisle during the scariest bits 😳
