Watching Mary Poppins in honour of Dick van Dyke's 100th birthday today! In the film, six o'clock comes and Mrs Banks and the servants run to their posts to steady everything for when Admiral Boom fires his gun. I wondered how Mumsnet would deal with having a neighbour like him?
