I saw the first two on Netflix - might be fun to see things played out on a big screen. And a change from all the pseudo-absurdist stealth horror I’ve been force fed at the cinema lately!

I quite enjoyed it, a lot of nice visual effects and the fight scenes were imaginative and looked good. I'll add that I haven't seen the first 2, but I did watch the 5 min recaps on you tube so I had a good clue of what was going on

Yes we ventured out into the big wide world, and saw it this week.
I went out for a bit of entertainment and that is exactly what I got.
Not the best film I’ve ever seen in my life, but nowhere near the worst either.

It was harmless, pleasant, and mediocre. For me, too many characters to care about any of them. But I’m not very into magic. I’m sure many will enjoy it.

It was utterly ridiculous and perfectly entertaining

I loved Rosalind Pike’s wardrobe

A solid 6/10.

I’m a big fan of the films and this didn’t disappoint. It was exactly what I wanted it be, namely silly fun. I feel with these films the writers have to up their game when it comes to the final trick. I did find this one a little lacking in the set up and reveal but enjoyed it. I think Jesse Eisenberg plays his part to perfection. I m looking forward to more films, hopefully, in this series.
