I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, as it’s NSFW, really, but I’m curious about this as I don’t think I’ve felt this in previous films.
But when I re-watched The Brutalist the other day, I found the sex scenes between Laszlo and his wife Erzsebet kind of erotic. I know there are lots of them 😂
For anyone else who’s seen The Brutalist, did you feel the same, or is it just me?
I think it’s probably partly because they were beautifully shot and the soft whispering in them gave them a sort of ASMR quality, and I feel like their characters have a really deep intimate connection that almost feels supernatural and magical. I found the scenes relaxing but also kind of arousing.
