any one any recommendations.

aged 8 and 10, oldest dc away so prime opportunity.

Good, imo, but maybe a bit young for 10 yo ?

My DD is 5 and enjoyed it (older DS's didn't come too)

5 yr old loved it - Adults thought it was OK too not brill but watchable ....

I personally thought it was rubbish !
DH & I took DD1 (3 and a half) when it first came out. although DD thought it was good I think she was more excited about being in the cinema than the film itself

My ds1 [nearly 9]loved it.
His 2 friends 9 and 7 didn't like it.

I took my DD1 aged 9 to see it in the school holiday recently. She loved it - and I quite enjoyed it too!

It's quite a 'young' film - but my DD prefers those sort of things (She chose HHAW over Spiderwick Chronicles). If you have a rather sophisticated 8 or 10 year old then they may find it a bit babyish.
