Christmas films with atmosphere and a bit of spookiness, preferably British or Irish?

I do love all the usual American schmalz Christmas movies, and I love a few British comedy ones like Arthur Christmas and Click and Collect... but are there any British or Irish Christmas films with a bit of non-gory spooky atmosphere to them? I want to watch something that's Christmassy but reasonably intelligent and doesn't look like an American Christmas tat shop has thrown up all over it. Any ideas? I've seen all the Ghost Story for Christmas episodes.

Also, can I suggest Black Mirror? A few of them are quite Christmassy, especially WHITE CHRISTMAS. Season 2, episode 4. Check that out if you have Netflix. It's really dark, (15 cert so don't watch it with young children,) and it's Christmassy!

Angela's Christmas on Netflix. Animated. But based on Angela's Ashes and beautiful

I always watch Great Expectations on Boxing Day. The old black and white one with Alec Guinness in. It has spooky menace and a Christmas scene! Might be a bit old fashioned, though?

Also the BBC series of 'and then there were none' -not Christmas but creepy and anything Agatha Christie is Christmas, in my world!
