Have recently watched I know where I'm going, A Matter of Life and Death & the life and death of Col Blimp.
They are amazing films, don't know how I've only just discovered them.

I personally think Peeping Tom was vile and I would never watch it again. It certainly makes me realise how P&P were a real partnership. Peeping Tom reminds me of Frenzy by Hitchcock which is Hitchcock without fetters. I don't like that either! Obviously.

I really like The Spy in Black. Valerie Hobson is so underrated.

I hate any film with Maurice Chevalier films for this reason. The song Thank heavens for little girls, is perverse.
Many films from the 20s, 30s and 40s were as sexist as fuck, but reflective of the time

Thanks so much to those who have recommended the Made in England documentary. Just finished watching it. Glorious. I've seen most of their films and I love them. I Know Where I'm Going is probably my favourite.

I love that too now.
It's almost perfect isn't it?
