Films of 2025 to look forward to?

Anyone got their finger on the pulse and knows what is due for release next year?

I don't know if this the right place for this because I don't know the release date, but I've just seen The Assessment and it's very good.

Post-climate change disaster, people who want to become parents are subject to a week long assessment to determine their suitability as a means of population control. It's a slightly surreal sci fi/thriller with some good funny bits, and a first feature from Fleur Fortuné (who's done some shorts and also some music videos, I think).

Elizabeth Olsen, Himesh Patel and Alicia Vikander are in it - definitely recommend

Looking forward to Pedro Almaldovar’s new film and also Mike Leigh one with Marianne Jean-Baptiste who was in Secrets and Lies.

Looking forward to both Josh O’Connor films and Pedro’s new film. I am also looking forward to the new Jurassic film and more importantly in terms of block buster films the new Mission Impossible film which I hope is out next year!

The Room Next Door is out next Friday.

I too am looking forward to seeing The Brutalist.

Also - We Live in Time, the latest Bridget Jones film, and Saturday Night.

I saw Hard Truths a few days ago at the London Film Festival and, sadly, I felt it was his worst ever film.

Ooh yea the new Bridget Jones film!
