What is this movie please.

Can anyone help with identifying this movie that my DH is insisting we’ve watched and I have no idea what he’s talking about….?
Apparently it’s British with an older actor similar to Terrence Stamp (but not sure if it’s him). About an assassin who is given a mark. The mark has a heart attack at a conference and the guys who hired the assassin refuse to pay, so the assassin picks them off one by one.
I have no further info at all

Might it be The Assassination Bureau from 1969 with Oliver Reed and Diana Rigg?

It sounds like an episode of a brilliant anthology series called Murder in Mind. Adam Faith was the hitman and I think the episode was Conract. They were all excellent.

I'm surprised it's not Murder in Mind. The plot is exactly as you described and the AdamFaith/Terence Stamp makes sense.

I think I know the film you mean OP. I think I saw it on the telly several years ago. Quite gritty and slightly gruesome I seem to remember. No idea what it's called though, sorry.
