Italian movie. Anyone seen this? I’m just not sure how to feel about it. I mean it kept me watching through and I felt invested to some extent. Uneasy about the choreography in the DV scene. Also the mix of music genres. Is it a musical? Why is this being called comedy? But I did love hearing the Roman dialect and all the different characters set in old time Roma. Would love to discuss if anyone has watched?

Where would one see it? I'd love to click my fingers and be sitting in a cinema in Rome at this very second but I can't face the upheaval at the moment.

I saw a trailer for it at my local Vue cinema.

I’m UK based. Apparently it was a blockbuster in Italy in 2023 and outsold Barbie(being compared to this by journos as both female empowerment films although wildly different). It’s on at my local Vue although prob not for long.

Just seen it. I thought it was cleverly done. IMHO it was a black comedy with a serious message.
