I believe Edmond died. Quick Google and I can’t see this interpretation . The final scene is being described as a flash forward having been rescued . There is no indication Edmund was rescued . I interpreted it as seeing Edmunds last thoughts as he died. The scene was filmed in brighter colours , and his breath misting on the window as he fell asleep in the police car indicated to me his last breath .
Surely there cannot be a different interpretation that means Edmond lived.

A few films were made over lockdown ! I remember watching some guff with Anne Hathaway on Netflix with a story about a heist over lockdown and was filmed during its early days.
Seeing London without any traffic around was weird. One small good thing about it, the roads were actually clear. About the only good thing going for it.

Yes we spotted the really old cars! I think it was the police car at the end which he was driven away in, was 20 years old. Just so weird.
