500 days of summer

Has anyone ever seen this film? I watched it over and over again after being heartbroken when I was 17. I have a rare night in alone tonight and can't believe how different I feel watching it now yet I remember it so well. Do you have any thoughts on this or how differently you can feel watching something so many years later?

Oh yes I saw this at the cinema years ago!

Only vaguely remember bits of it but ah yes I know that feeling of watching a film years later and it transporting me back to that time and all the feelings & emotions of watching it/what was going on in my life at the time

Haven't seen it in years. Lots of films that I watched in my teens or early 20s seem totally different films when rewatched a decade or so later.

I felt so nostalgic watching it the another night. I remember wondering why they couldn't just be together when they liked all the same stuff. When you're in your late teens, liking the same bands, films etc is basically the ultimate foundation for a relationship. How strange it is to watch something through the lens of new experiences and understand a characters feelings and motives in a way you never did before.
