We are having a very rare film day tomorrow at my daughters request so I am looking for recommendations to keep her interested. She has requested the boy in the stripe pyjamas and wants to watch the Percy Jackson series.

can anyone recommend anything else? She’s not girly girly so won’t sit through a romcom or gossip girl etc

thank you 🥰

Enola Holmes, 1 and 2. Both great fun.

The Bridge to Terabithia is one of my favourites, allthough in the interests of honesty my very own DD asked why I was making her watch this depressing movie?

Holes with a young Shia LeBouf is great fun.

Thank you all.

this is the first time she had asked to watch a film in years despite my weekly suggestions! I have lots of snacks in the hope she will want to do it more 😂

I know I’m late but if u have another I recommend Diary of a wimpy kid, My girl, Mrs doubtfire. I know their not v new at all but I watched Mrs doubtfire and My girl when I was about 11 and loved it and then showed my kids them and they loved it!

Has she read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas? It's not easy viewing.

MojoJojo71 · 10/02/2024 21:39

My DD’s favourite movie is The Book of Life.

Shouldn't a special film day involve going OUT to a theatre? Otherwise, it's just watching television, really.
