Anatomy of a Fall

I just finished watching this. Truly excellent performances, especially from the child actor! And one of the most realistic, agonisingly accurate domestic conflicts I’ve seen unfold on the screen.

Has anyone else seen it? What do you think ‘actually’ happened, or ultimately, does it even matter?

i thought it was excellent and i dont like such long films
i do think if it had been american it would not have been so good.
i am not sure the boy made up the scenario
i think he wanted his mother away so he could test the dog.
i didnt want her to be guilty of course,
with her husband's terrible attitude
the dog was award winning.

apparently the court scene was absolutely realistic to real court system in france, brutal indeed. that dreadful psychologist

Very, very good. Dysfunctional marriage, focused wife, jealous husband. In probability I'd say she didn't do it, but the dive into the relationship and the son's perspective were more significant for me.
