Just watched this on Netflix and really loved it. Just so refreshing to have a film focused on the achievements and friendship of two women over 60, played by two brilliant actors. There’s a lot of swimming involved but you really don’t have to be interested in swimming to enjoy. It.

I will watch it now I have read the thread! I kept pausing over it then flicking past. But I do like Jodie Foster alot and so that's this weekend watching sorted!

It’s just so rare and refreshing to see films focused on women which aren’t about romance, motherhood, beauty. Doubly so that it’s older women. Triplely so that it’s lesbian women.

thanks for the recommendation @CroccyWoccy - i hadnt wanted to see this, didnt really like the last annette benning film i saw, nor the last jodie foster one.
