He wants to go to the cinema to watch but I am concerned may be too disturbing?

He has seen things like the Marvel films/Harry Potter/Wednesday

Thank you

Has he seen the other Hunger Games films?

ive not seen the new film yet but my DD’s both watched the original films at around 10 years old as they’d been reading the books at school.

I usually go googling and check the IMDb parents guide and common sense media website as they break down what the violence/sexual scenes etc are- personally I would have thought based on original hunger games it would be more 12/13 but I don’t know the new ones

Seen the new one...depends on them i guess but whereas the first film sorta of masked the first blood bit this one shows more, few graphic ish deaths and has more sounds featuring..plus it was very long!

I like Hunger Games but I do think it's a very disturbing concept. Even though it's aimed at teens, I wouldn't really want a 10 year old to see it.

What’s the certificate?

I took him this afternoon, was 2 places I covered his eyes but was fine overall. Do think definitely aimed at adult fans, though wasn’t graphic definitely a darker tone

I regret letting my dd watch it. She's a bit over 12. I can't believe it's a 12a. It's really really violent.
