Timothy Dalton was probably more true to the character in the books, but I had a soft spot for Pierce Brosnan.

Roger Moore was the Bond of my childhood so for nostalgia it's him.
However Daniel Craig is my unclouded objective best Bond

This! Roger Moore will always be the ultimate Bond to me..

The first James Bond I saw was Roger Moore as a kid. I then saw Sean Connery as an adult and thought he was much better as Bond. I hate the way RM plays Bond and he's in the worst Bond film ever, Octopussy. I'm not counting the David Niven Casino Royale as a proper Bond film. I liked PB at the time, saw but can't remember the TD films. I've enjoyed DC's performances as Bond.

Daniel Craig, no contest. Sean Connery ok. The others were just bleuch. Interesting because they were supposedly my era, if you like, but they were either silly or sleazy, just no.

I haven't seen OHMSS all the way through. Lazenby decided he didn't want to play Bond again after that one film as he didn't want to be typecast.

Roger Moore was dreadful. He made it too comic.

Sean Connery can't act. He always plays Sean Connery.

(Don't think I saw any of the other actors/films)

Connery - very serious.
Moore- I preferred. Tongue in cheek and I don’t think you can take Bond that seriously!
Not a fan of Craig.

Doesn't work for me! I'm in my 50s. I watched Doctor Who and loads of Bond films in the 80s. My favourite Bond is Daniel Craig and my favourite Doctors are David Tennant and Matt Smith.
