Anyone else watched it yet? I've just finished it and thought it was brilliant. Absolutely did the book justice. Highly recommend.

I’ve seen it and it was wonderful, great adaption of a book I loved. I saw it with DD in May half term though so I’d be surprised if it’s still in cinemas.

DD and I saw it in half term as well, we both loved it. I would highly recommend and would happily watch again but it’s not on anywhere atm.

Watched it with my teen dd and preteen ds tonight and they both enjoyed it. We also watched ‘Youre so not invited to my bat mitzvah’ this week so i now need a coming-of-age boy film.

I watched it on DVD with my pre-teen as it was my favourite book as a child. Read most of Judy Blume's books.

Although I did like the film, I found it to have more of a religious angle than I remember the book having. Might just be my bad memory. Thought Kathy Bates was great as the grandmother!

Dds 14 and 9 absolutely loved it ! So did I it was my favourite book as a kid

I watched it this evening and really enjoyed it. From what I can recall it was pretty true to the book. The child actors were really good especially Margaret.

Watched the Adam Sandler and family film today. Thought it was a bit like a modern day equivalent to Are you there God! Wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be, but my girls did laugh.
