insidious: The red door. Do you like the insidious films in general? I love horror and there’s not enough horror films coming out :(

I haven't seen it yet but am planning to so following with interest. I feel the horror films that do come out can be a little samey. I wish someone would come up with a really original idea.

Oooof didn't know about this, thanks op. I love the insidious films.

It wasn't bad bad..just felt long in parts! Jumpy though! I like how they used the same child actor just obviously years older. And going back to the family from before and all.

Ive seen it. It was jumpy but the storyline a little drawn out. Took a while for the actual’horror’ bit to start if that makes sense. But overall it was worth seeing in the cinema.

Saw it last night. Love the Insidious films. I enjoyed it but wasn't amazing.
There's a new horror out the end of July we saw a trailer for. Called " Talk to me"
That looks worth a watch

Just hunted down this thread to warn anyone who's thinking of seeing it, it's absolutely terrible.

I honestly can't even explain how bad it was without spoiling it but after watching all the previous films and enjoying them I can't even believe this was released, it's the biggest disappointment with a film that I've had for a very long time.

It’s very slow isn’t it, takes ages for the scary scenes and even then it isn’t as scary as the past films.
Didn’t see the point in certain scenes and I found Dalton’s new best friend so annoying 😂

Totally agree! It has a different director and it seems like all they cared about was a few jump scares. There was no real build up and it was all over too easy.

My people! It was definitely the worst insidious by a mile!

I really like the first two and was somewhat looking forward to this but sounds like I’ll give it a miss or just stream it. Patrick Wilson seems a lovely bloke with a lovely arse but directing effective horror is an art few first-timers master unless they’re keen aficionados of the genre.

Can I have another Orphan sequel instead?
